ABOUT TESS
Tess (they/them) is a neurodivergent, queer, non-binary, sexuality clinician and educator. They’ve been working in sexual rehabilitation as an occupational therapist (OT) for people with neurological conditions, spinal cord injury, acquired brain injury and musculoskeletal injury in both public and private hospitals across Melbourne. They now run a community OT and sexological practise working solely in sexuality for people living with disability, chronic illness and cancer. Tess is also trained in somatic sexology, having worked hands-on (and hands-in!) with people of all walks of life, to discover and re-connect their pleasure potential. As a clinical and community-based sexuality educator, they’ve facilitated well over a hundred workshops on the topics of sexuality, pleasure, intimacy, consent, kink, ethical/consensual non-monogamy and more, for nearly a decade. That’s thousands of people! It’s safe to say they know their stuff.
From Tess’s own cancer journey, they’ve experienced first-hand the lack of sexual support out there for people struggling. Why are quality sexual education and practical, realistic guidance so hard to find!?!?!? This question is the driving force for this Masterclass and other works by Tess. Through education and support, we can empower and discover. These are the tools for changing lives and is Tess’s mission for any human wanting to access a greater quality of sexual life.
